    CYO Basketball Semifinals

High School Placement Test (8th Graders Only)

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for all incoming freshmen at Detroit Catholic Central High School. It is a standardized test developed to help us place incoming freshmen in the correct classes. With more than 60 feeder schools, it is important for us to have a common score for every incoming student.

The HSPT takes approximately 3 hours, and calculators are not allowed. Students should bring two #2 pencils, and there is a $40 testing fee (payable at the time of online registration or at the door).
