2021-2022 Tuition: $14,700
Tuition is set to be all-inclusive. There are no added costs for books, technology, tutoring, early/late access to the building, etc.
Families are required to provide their own device
Other Fees:
  • $40 late payment fee (through SmartTuition)
  • $96 AP Testing fee (if applicable)
  • $55 Student parking fee (if applicable)
Catholic Central offers a $1,500 tuition discount for families with two or more sons enrolled at the same time. The discount applies to the second son and each additional son enrolled.

  • Tuition Assistance

    We work very hard to keep Catholic Central affordable for every family, and will work with you on payment plans as well as grants when applicable.

    To Apply for Tuition Assistance

    • Complete the FAST form (all legal guardians)
    • Submit your tax forms (2019 for 2021 applicants)
    • Meet with Admissions 
      • Each family's unique circumstances are taken into account. A frank and honest discussion with Admissions will help us advocate for your son.
    Tuition Assistance Awards will be maintained for the duration of enrollment.
    • Families must submit the FAST form and taxes each year to verify circumstances
    • Substantial change in circumstances may result in aid being adjusted.
  • Scholarships & Grants

    In addition to the scholarship applications, students must complete the regular application process.
    Academic Scholarships
    Catholic Central is offering Academic Scholarships to students entering the 9th grade in 2022 based on the HSPT or PSAT 8/9. Students may qualify for Academic Scholarships based on their overall national composite score, typically in the 90th percentile or higher.
      • Fr. James Embser Award
        • $4,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.9 GPA.
      • Fr. John Sheehy Award
        • $3,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.8 GPA.
      • Fr. Bernard Regan Award
        • $2,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.7 GPA.
      • Fr. John Menner Award
        • $1,000 per year, provided the student  maintains a 3.6 GPA.
    Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge Scholarships
    These Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge (GDK) scholarships range around $1,000 and students must remain in good standing to renew the scholarship each year. There are a very limited number of these scholarships available for each class of incoming students (less than 10% of applicants).
    GDK scholarships may be available for exceptional young men who meet one or more of the following criteria:
      • Would be the first in their family to attend Catholic Central
      • Are from underrepresented educational, cultural, or geographic backgrounds
      • Have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles
      • Demonstrates the values of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge, as documented by their application, interview, and essay responses

    For students with siblings on the Autism Spectrum 

    The Dominique Fischer Memorial Foundation Scholarship 

    Athletic Scholarships
    Per MHSAA Guidelines, Catholic Central does not offer any athletic scholarships.

    Archdiocese of Detroit Assistance
    Students who belong to a parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit are also able to apply for additional assistance. You can find the link to the application here.
