Academic Scholarships
Catholic Central is offering Academic Scholarships to students entering the 9th grade in 2022 based on the HSPT or PSAT 8/9. Students may qualify for Academic Scholarships based on their overall national composite score, typically in the 90th percentile or higher.
- Fr. James Embser Award
- $4,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.9 GPA.
- Fr. John Sheehy Award
- $3,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.8 GPA.
- Fr. Bernard Regan Award
- $2,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.7 GPA.
- Fr. John Menner Award
- $1,000 per year, provided the student maintains a 3.6 GPA.
Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge Scholarships
These Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge (GDK) scholarships range around $1,000 and students must remain in good standing to renew the scholarship each year. There are a very limited number of these scholarships available for each class of incoming students (less than 10% of applicants).
GDK scholarships may be available for exceptional young men who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Would be the first in their family to attend Catholic Central
- Are from underrepresented educational, cultural, or geographic backgrounds
- Have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles
- Demonstrates the values of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge, as documented by their application, interview, and essay responses

Athletic Scholarships
Per MHSAA Guidelines, Catholic Central does not offer any athletic scholarships.
Archdiocese of Detroit Assistance
