Junior Shamrock Program

The Junior Shamrock Program is the best way for boys in grades K-8 to experience the energy, brotherhood, and tradition of Catholic Central.

By registering, you’ll be the first to hear about exciting events, giveaways, and priority access to limited-space activities. Families may choose between our Blue or White tier membership options to get started. Details on each level are outlined below.

Program Timeline:

The Junior Shamrock Program runs on an annual cycle beginning each August. Blue Tier memberships must be renewed each school year.
School-year events typically conclude in April/May, with summer camps begninning in June.

Important Notes:

Junior Shamrock membership focuses on the social side of the CC experience - fun events, athletic access, and a front-row seat to our community life.
If you're looking for application steps, admissions deadlines, and guidance for the upcoming school year (especially 8th graders and potential transfers), be sure to submit a Potential Student Information Form to create your myCC account and begin the process.

White Tier (Tier 1) - FREE

Blue Tier (Tier 2) - $28

Everything in the White Tier, plus:
- Jr. Shamrocks Pass - Admission to all Shamrock home events via special GoFan link
  - Passes are sent within 1-2 business days to the email used to register.
  - GoFan links are not sent between Thursday at noon and Monday morning. Purchases made after Thursday at noon will not be active for that weekend’s games, and families will still need to purchase tickets at the gate.
- Jr. Shamrocks membership card & lanyard
- Exclusive Shamrock swag bag
  - Swag bags will be available for pickup (free) or delivery ($12) within 2-3 weeks of the order. Status emails will be sent when they are ready.

Please note: The Blue Tier membership is no longer available for purchase for the 2025-2026 school year. It will return in July or August for next year!

Student Experience

Students will be placed in small groups and rotate through six interactive sessions led by Catholic Central students, faculty, and staff. Each session is designed to showcase our facilities and give them an early, hands-on feel for life at CC.

Parents will meet the administration, and attend a comprehensive Admissions 101 presentation that includes:

Who we are as a school

Parents will also enjoy a student-led campus tour and hear directly from current CC parents during a brief panel discussion.

Fine Arts Night (Grades 6-8) | April 24 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Join us for Jr. Shamrocks Fine Arts Night!

Jr. Shamrocks are invited to a creative evening of hands-on art at Detroit Catholic Central High School. Students will rotate between two artistic sessions, spending one hour in each: Drawing & Painting and Ceramics & Pottery.

During the Drawing & Painting session, students will explore creative techniques through guided sketching and painting. In the Ceramics & Pottery session, students will create a clay piece that will be professionally fired in a kiln after the event.

Artwork & Pottery Pickup: Finished pieces will be available for pickup at school or during the Detroit Catholic Central Art Fair the weekend after the event (May 1, 2026). For students whose artwork is selected for the fair, if you would prefer for it not to be included, just let us know.
