Catholic Central Announces New STEM Center

We are proud to announce a new STEM addition to our current building. Construction is slated to begin in the summer of 2022 with the goal of opening for students in January of 2024.

This addition will help us continue to offer the best possible academic environment for all of our students and better equip our students to compete in the 21st Century workforce.

The addition, funded by our alumni and benefactors, will include a number of exciting features for our students:
  • 57,000 square feet of learning space
  • Eight new multi-purpose science labs
  • Four dedicated lab prep rooms
  • A dedicated engineering lab
  • A full-sized FIRST Robotics competition field with additional worker space (5,300 square foot area!)
  • A machinery room for fabrication
  • A greenhouse
  • A 130-seat lecture hall with multi-wall projection
  • An observatory tower
While we are excited to be able to share the rendering with families, keep in mind that the final design might be a bit different!

Other Projects

We are grateful for the generosity and vision of our donors and benefactors, who allow us to continually improve our facilities without drawing from tuition or tuition assistance funding.

Main Entrance
Catholic Central made renovations to its main entrance in the 2020-2021 school year, making safety improvements and providing a 'new face' to the campus.

Learning Commons
Catholic Central completed a $1 million upgrade to the school’s Learning Strategies Center and Media Center in 2021. The renovations provide students with increased space for collaborative learning and continues the overall effort to provide state-of-the-art facilities for the school’s more than 900 students.

Future Projects
There are many projects included in the master plan for Catholic Central's campus. These projects are being thoughtfully developed as the school plans for its 100th Anniversary, and looks towards the next 100 years of teaching goodness, discipline, and knowledge.
