Aviation
Empowering the aviators of tomorrow
The Aviation Program at Catholic Central features a Redbird FMX simulator and six TD-2 simulators in the George and Mary Turek Hall of Science that allow students to take steps to complete their commercial pilots license.
RedBird FMX Flight Simulator
CC has a full size, Redbird FMX simulator - features include: electric motion platform and wrap-around visuals. Students will be able to earn flight hours as they work toward gaining their pilot license.
The Hall of Science also houses six stationary TD2 desktop units for students to gain experience prior to utilizing the full simulator.
How to get involved
Students interested in pursuing aviation at Catholic Central should first speak with their assigned counselor.
